4th July Independence Day Party Ideas

Celebrate 4th July Independence Day

Have an all American BBQ. Cover tables with a red and white checkered table cloth. Have a flower arrangement with a mini American flag at the centre of the arrangement on the centre of the table. Keep things simple and buy some red, white and blue disposable plates. Red, white and blue balloons will also look great and given to any children at the BBQ. Ask everyone to bring something with them so everyone can enjoy the celebrations and finally raise a toast to our Soldiers with your guests and family!

Wear a patriotic costume and don't forget the kids. Stage a 4th of July themed scavenger hunt. Have a competition for the best costume!

Just Open Your Wardrobe

Here is a list of three costumes that most people can put together using items they already have in their wardrobe.

The Pirate:  take a pair of loose pants and tuck them into your boots. Wrap a bandanna around your head. Wear a shirt with the buttons undone at the top with a vest and wrap some fabric/scarf around your waist for a belt!

The Cowboy:  you just need a pair of jeans, boots and a western shirt. All you need then is a cowboy hat! Accessorize with a lasso, bandanna around your neck and a gun belt.

The Tourist: get out that Hawaiian shirt from your last holiday, some bermuda shorts and don't forget the flip flops. Put a camera around your neck and grab some brochures to complete the look.
